1. What is Plum Perfect?
Plum Perfect is you personal color expert. We analyze your facial features and whatever’s in your closet to find you the perfect beauty or fashion products from the brands you love.
2. How do we make our recommendations?
We use our patented technology to read visual cues from your hair, lips, eyes, skin, and even your clothes. Then we use this information to search endless databases to find the perfect look for you. It’s kind of like magic.
3. Do you work for any of the retailers represented on your site?
Nope. We work for you. We won’t recommend a product unless it works perfectly. We also pay attention to the brands you love, so we can recommend the best products from your favorite brands.
4. Can I personalize my search beyond color?
Absolutely. You can narrow your search by using filters like: product benefits, look, and brand. But no matter what you do, the products we recommend will still be perfect matches.
5. Where do I start?
You can start by downloading our app for iPhone or iPad here.
6. What pictures will get the most accurate results?
The app will guide you on how to take the best picture. High-quality pictures that look natural and have good lighting usually work the best.
GIRL SEEKS SAMPLE QUESTIONS
1. What’s the difference between the Sample and Seek Sample buttons in the app?
Sample: This product is available to be sampled now, order it at any time to be shipped to your door. You’ll see these buttons in the Girl Seeks Sample section of the app.
Seek Sample: This product is not currently available to sample. Once enough people request this sample, we can alert the brand and see if they would like to feature it in the app.
2. When will you get new samples on the app?
We are constantly adding new products. To stay in the loop, check your email (make sure we’re not in the spam folder) and follow us on and . We’ll always let you know when new samples are added!
3. How long do samples take to ship?
Due to high demand, samples can take up to three weeks to process + shipping time. We appreciate your patience.
4. Do you ship outside of the United States?
At this time we only ship within the United States. If you are outside of the US, you can still enjoy all of the Plum Perfect app’s other fun features like My Lips Eyes Face, Makeup Police, and beauTV.
5. Does my sample order have a tracking number?
We currently do not have tracking numbers on orders, but you will receive an order confirmation in your inbox.
6. I didn't receive an order confirmation?
Please check the SPAM folder for the email address associated with your account. If you signed up with Facebook, it will be the email address you use to login. Make sure we’re an authorized sender. If you still cannot locate your order confirmation, please contact us with the subject “Order Confirmation” and the name and email address associated with your account so we can confirm your order for you.
7. Are you available on Android?
At this time our app is available for iOS only, this includes iPad. Be sure to follow us on social media to be notified when our Android version becomes available.
8. How do I delete my account?
We’re sad to see you go! To delete your account please contact us with the subject “Delete My Account” along with the email address associated with the account. We also appreciate any feedback you have for us so we can continue to make improvements to the app.
